INCO

INCO Academy and INCO Kids are equipping young people with the technical and life skills that prepare them to navigate our rapidly changing world and build a more inclusive and planet-friendly society for tomorrow.

Our partnership is grounded in a shared ambition to empower young people as agents of change—helping them develop practical skills, understand global challenges, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The first phase of our partnership was with INCO Academy in Morocco and South Africa, delivering programmes focused on the renewable energy transition, equipping young people with technical knowledge, exposure to green careers, and the tools needed to access employment or entrepreneurship opportunities in this rapidly growing sector.

We are now focused on supporting INCO Kids, extending our impact to younger audiences. This programme introduces youth to the skills, mindsets, and opportunities they will need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

INCO Academy

We have supported INCO Academy in Morocco and South Africa, delivering a programme focused on the renewable energy transition, equipping young people with technical knowledge, exposure to green careers, and the tools needed to access employment or entrepreneurship opportunities in this rapidly growing sector.

As part of the programme, young people took part in over 120 hours of online learning covering fundamental skills and project-based learning:

Awareness: understanding the green energy sector and its impact

Skills Development: discovering real-life career pathways and the types of jobs that are available in renewable energy

Career Support: equipping young people with the skills needed to look for and gain employment in the green energy sector, or start their own small business

INCO Kids

INCO Kids introduces younger audiences to the skills, mindsets, and opportunities they will need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Their programmes are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and raise awareness of global challenges. Through engaging, age‑appropriate learning, participants gain early exposure to key topics such as renewable energy, climate change, and the future of work.

We are funding a programme in Senegal. This initiative provides an introduction to the fundamentals of climate change and the realities of the energy transition, while highlighting the wide range of career pathways within the renewable energy sector.

By combining practical learning with real‑world insights, the programme helps young people develop knowledge, confidence, and aspiration, encouraging them to see themselves as part of the solution to global environmental challenges.

Together, these initiatives create a strong, complementary pathway - from early exposure through INCO Kids to advanced skills development through INCO Academy - ensuring that young people are equipped at every stage to participate in and shape a more sustainable future.

Our people will further support this initiative by offering their time and expertise through mentoring, leading workshops, and providing career advice to the young people learning with INCO Academy.
